Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals. Your work will directly impact the lives of individuals and their families, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using appropriate data collection methods
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one neurofeedback sessions with clients, following prescribed protocols
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent implementation of interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and incident reports
Qualifications:
- Experience in psychology, education, or related field required
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and implement behavioral treatment plans accurately
- Proficient in data collection methods and documentation procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics guidelines
